head tags

All Webnode templates are programmed so that page titles, signatures, subject lines and main texts are automatically coded into head tags: H1- H3. These are recognisable within the code as <h1> a.s.o.

H1 tags are automatically set as page titles.
H1 tags are automatically set as page titles.

Head tags are automatically scanned and recognised by search engines. The most important head tag for all search engines is the H1 tag, which corresponds to the main heading or page title.

Setting up the head tags in the editor is not necessary. This saves time when creating the website and makes your SEO even easier!

The templates contain SEO relevant H1-H3 tags. The H1 tag influences the ranking of the website in the search results. A keyword should not be missing here. H2-H3 tags determine the structure and overview of the page.

Examples in Webnodes editor

H1 = page title or any other title to mark another paragraph

H3= Subtitles within the text or sub-headings

H2= text marked as heading
